We’re thrilled to announce the Ash Summit 2025, the inaugural gathering of the Ash community happening the Saturday following Goatmire, and you’re invited!
This is more than just a meetup. It’s the first time that the majority of the Ash core team will be coming together in person, and we decided it was the perfect opportunity to create a space where the entire community can connect, share and grow together. So we’re making a day of it and we’d love for you to join us.
The Ash Summit 2025 is a free, in-person event dedicated to all things Ash Framework, proudly sponsored by Alembic, supported by Goatmire and our longtime friend and community advocate Lars Wikman.
Whether you’ve been building with Ash from the beginning or are just curious about what this Elixir application framework has to offer, this event is for you.
Why Ash, Why Now?
For those newer to the ecosystem, Ash is a batteries-included framework that brings declarative data modelling, resource-centric design, and powerful tooling to Elixir developers. It aims to reduce boilerplate, encourage consistency and accelerate delivery without sacrificing flexibility or the functional beauty of the BEAM.
Over the past few years, Ash has evolved rapidly with new libraries to help developers go from idea to production faster than ever. With its modular design, comprehensive documentation, and vibrant community, Ash is becoming a go-to choice for Elixir teams looking to scale efficiently.
The Ash Summit 2025 is our way of celebrating that progress and fuelling what comes next.
Why are we Hosting This?
At Alembic, we’ve always been passionate about building strong developer communities and supporting open-source innovation. Over the years, we’ve seen Ash grow from an ambitious framework into a mature, powerful tool that’s helping teams around the world deliver robust, scalable applications - all while embracing the elegant spirit of the Elixir ecosystem.
We’ve contributed to Ash, worked alongside its core maintainers, and watched the community flourish. So knowing the core team would finally be in the same city at the same time, the idea came naturally: let’s get everyone together. Let’s give the Ash community a chance to gather face-to-face, to ask questions, swap stories, trade ideas, and sketch out what’s next.
What to Expect
The Ash Summit is designed to be a relaxed, community-first event. We’re not aiming for a rigid conference schedule. Instead we’re curating a space where presentations, open discussions and collaborative workshopping can all live side by side.
